In today’s Codera Analytics post we show a measure of the cost of a family braai and show it has gone up by about 35% since January 2021. The index is based on rand retail prices of a range of braai meats, fire igniting items, soft drinks, wine and beer products and the weights used to create the index are based on contributions of each product category to a typical South African family braai.
