Construction materials prices have increased at faster than Headline consumer prices since 2015, although some sub-components, such as concrete has increased by less than CPI. As shown in previous posts (here and here), the construction industry has experienced relatively slow productivity growth (here and here) and relatively high unit labour cost increases (here) since 2010.
