Concentration has declined in most manufacturing sub-divisions, with the exception of electrical machinery, telecommunication, medical & other and furniture & other. In the furniture sub-division, the relative contribution of the top 10 enterprises has risen by over 15% (22% for the top 20). The final chart shows the most concentrated manufacturing sub-categories. For nine of the top 10 most concentrated categories, the 10 largest enterprises contribute more than 90% of the income of the sub-industry. These include carpets, rugs and mats, rubber tyres & tubes, building and repairing of boats, recorded media & other publishing, petrol, fuel oils & other, sugar, cocoa, chocolate & confectionery, printing and service activities related to printing and reproduction of recorded media, watches and clocks & other, and motor vehicles & other transport equipment.
