In today’s post by Riaan Grobler, we create an indicator of self perceived financial stress using Google search terms. The index measures self perceived stress using a range of economic and financial search terms, expressed relative to past search behaviour. The Eastern Cape, Free State, Northern Cape and Western Cape have the highest self perceived financial strain at present.
