Since 2002, average SARB wages have risen by about 7.3% annually (7.1% in the case of the Governor), compared to average annual CPI inflation of about 5.3%. Compared to government, SARB average wages grew at 7.6% since 2006 (Governor’s at 7.1%), while government average wages rose at 8.2% annually and inflation at 5.7% (based on compound annual average rates).
