Since the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 6500 companies have undergone liquidation, with nearly half (over 3000) from the finance, insurance, real estate, and business services sector. The wholesale and retail trade, catering, and accommodation sector followed with over 1500 liquidations. Additionally, company registrations have slowed, with 2023 seeing a 15% drop in annual registrations compared to 2020.
