This month’s CPI release saw a small upside surprise to January 2026 inflation (Codera: 3.44%, Actual: 3.49%, Market: 3.4%). This reflected an upside surprise in accommodation inflation, and a small downside surprise to food, driven by lower than expected cereal product inflation.
