CO2 intensity in selected economies

Carbon dioxide intensity varies significantly across economies, depending on their economic structure, energy mix and population size. For the countries considered there is a negative correlation between intensity based on size of economies and population. Switzerland, for example, has much high carbon dioxide intensity owing to high consumption of imported products (importing around three times more CO2 emissions than it produces).
