Real wage growth at selected central banks

Not accounting for compositional changes, the SARB wage bill per employee has risen by 2.5 percentage points faster than inflation since 2008. At advanced economy banks like those of the UK, New Zealand,  Australia and Canada the average growth in average real wages has been much lower at 0.05%, 0.4%, 0.5% and 0.5%, respectively.
