Liquidity lines between BRICS central banks

Central banks often provide liquidity lines to each other to give access to foreign currency as a substitute for holding FX reserves. Among main BRICS economies, China has been both the largest recipient of active liquidity lines with other main BRICS economy central bank and the source of the largest amount of swap arrangements.
