Chicken price inflation over the last year has varied a lot across chicken products and supermarkets. Woolworths rotisserie chicken, for example, increased by 10%, while Woolworths chicken breast (400g) rose by roughly 20% and Pick n Pay 10 chicken portion prices rose by 18%, while SPAR mixed chicken portion prices varied over the year, and are currently lower than a year ago.
