Results from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor survey suggests the entrepreneurship rate have been rising in South Africa over time, although it fell markedly post COVID-19 pandemic. The survey also shows that ‘more than three in five South Africans report that their household income has fallen in 2022 because of the pandemic.’
