The chart below shows metrics of the international rankings of top 3 Economics and Econometrics faculties in each BRICS economy. The top 3 ranked Chinese universities based on the QS World University Rankings are all in the top 100 internationally, scoring higher in terms of research impact and employer reputation than universities in the other BRICS economies. Among the South African universities, Pretoria and Cape Town are ranked between 251 to 300 globally, with Stellenbosch ranked 351 to 400.
